Scholastic All-American Henry Wu, a senior at Northwood High School, has sent a verbal commitment to the Duke University Blue Devils class of 2022.

Two-time Scholastic All-American Hunter Hitchens, a Northwood High School senior, has been named a National Hispanic Scholar by the College Board, for his academic excellence. Hitchens received this prestigious distinction from the College Board, which represents the top 2% of Hispanic eligible students nationwide.

The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) distinguished six of Northwood's juniors Hunter Hitchens, Shawn Lou, Gabe Munoz, Hwa Min Sim, Collin Press and Henry Wu as First Team NISCA All-Americans, an honor reflective of their exceptional performances during the 2017 high school swim season.

Northwood High School Swimming & Diving announced its captains for the 2018 season at the annual end of season team banquet this week. Voted on by their teammates, the six captains look to lead a program that continues to excel both in and out of the pool for Northwood High School.

Much of the Northwood Timberwolves diving this season rest on the shoulders of freshman Kayla Haigh, an Irvine 15-year old who opened competition in the 1-meter springboard and 3-meter platform Tuesday, May 9th at the 2017 CIF-SS Division I Swimming & Diving Championships held at the Riverside Aquatics Complex.

Under the bright Friday night lights, the Beckman High School Aquatic Center played host to this year's Pacific Coast League Championship finals featured on Friday, May 6, 2017.  There was plenty of clear eyes and full hearts on the pool deck as lightning struck twice for the Northwood Timberwolves boys with a back-to-back Pacific Coast League Championship title!!

Riding on the crest of a successful wave into this 2017 season the Northwood Timberwolves continued their strong momentum at the 45th Annual Mission Viejo Invitational on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatic Center.  An incredible field that featured 25 high schools from all over California seemingly created a NorCal vs SoCal duel meet.

The Northwood Timberwolves riding a wave of preseason momentum did a pretty good job of warming the water at the Beckman High School Aquatic Center on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.  Depth was the name of the day for Northwood, finding their way all afternoon in the winning column which culminated in swimming away with the team scoring tally.  Northwood boys secured a 94 point margin of victory 132-38, while the girls closed out 113-57 over Beckman.

Northwood's reigning Pacific Coast League Champion varsity boys made their presence felt as they rattled off 10 of the 11 total first place wins unleashing their attack, and put together 1-2 and 1-2-3 sweeps in multiple events en route to bruising team wins over Fountain Valley and L.B. Wilson at the Northwood Aquatic Center on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

The Northwood Timberwolves swim team led a group effort to spread Thanksgiving cheer this holiday season by serving meals to Orange County's homeless, working poor, unemployed, and other people in need as part of community service on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Wednesday, November 16, 2016 marks the first day Northwood High School seniors in a number of sports can officially sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI).  Mack Nesbit a senior at Northwood High School has committed to swim for University North Carolina-Wilmington apart of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) in the fall of 2017.
